UPCOMING TRIPS / PAST TRIPS

Annual trips, both in France and in the United States, are organized for small groups of French Heritage Society members and guests who visit historically and artistically significant sites, many of which are not ordinarily open to the public. These cultural excursions invariably include hospitality at privately owned châteaux and houses and visits to monuments that have received French Heritage Society support for restoration work. The purpose of these trips is to deepen understanding of the two countries and their heritage and to strengthen the bonds of friendship that unite them. Each trip focuses on a particular region or style of architecture and is led by qualified experts. Trips have explored a variety of subjects, including “Royal Palaces and Noble Dwellings in Paris and the Ile de France,” “Aix-en-Provence and the Landscapes of Cézanne,” “The French Legacy in Louisiana,” “French Monuments in Rome,” and “In the Footsteps of Alexis de Tocqueville.”
