The Napa Valley/Sonoma Chapter was inaugurated on March 14, 2009. Victoria Barkan and Patsy Seidler are the Co-Chairmen of this new Chapter. The Chapter will be supporting the 2009 grant for the Musée Rosette Rochon in New Orleans, LA. Built in the 1820s, it was once a Creole cottage belonging to Rosette Rochon, a woman of French and Haitian ancestry. The Musée Rosette Rochon is slated to be a major historic house museum and educational center for Marigny and the adjacent French Quarter, Tremé, and Bywater neighborhoods.
