The Dallas Chapter was founded by Lysa Rohan in 1990. Since that time, the Chapter has organized social events for its members based on themes relating to French culture. Past highlights include a benefit dinner at the home of Kelly and Norman Green, whose house was built by George Parker, featuring the boiseries from a hotel particulier in Paris; guest of honor Olivier Bernier’s lecture: "Fireworks at Dusk- Paris in the Thirties" at a patron dinner; and FHS President Princess Marie-Sol de la Tour d'Auvergne’s talk on the evolution of French gardens. She was also the guest of honor at a fundraising event benefiting the Katrina Heritage Rescue Fund, themed around "An Evening in the Vieux Carre."
