Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Paris Chapter of French Heritage Society will take place at the Cercle de l\'Union Interalliee, Salon Foch. Report of activities for 2007 will be presented by Co-Chairman Astrid Stanfield-Pinel and Dominique Flahaut de la Billarderie. In the presence of Elizabeth Stribling, FHS Chairman of the Board, Marie-Sol de La Tour d\'Auvergne will present the grants awarded in 2007 on the occasion of our 25th anniversary. She will introduce her successor, Denis de Kergorlay who takes office as President in April 2008.

La Maison Soubrier, une caverne d\'Ali-baba
A stroll through the old Saint Antoine neighborhood will begin on the steps of the Opera Bastille before proceeding through Saint Marguerites church then on to a charming cul-de-sac, full of flowers, to the Maison Soubrier. Founded in the 19th century, this store is an authentic cavern of treasures, containing a trove of old furniture and objects from all corners of the world. A gold mine for movie, television and theater set designers, who can rent objects to create a special decor. Madame Chantal Doumic-Nerot, journalist and a member of the founders family, will guide us through this unusual display.

Book Signing and Dinner
The Boston Chapter presents, Marie-Therese, Child of Terror the Fate of Marie Antoinette\'s Daughter, by Susan Nagel for a presentation and booksigning at the New England Historic Genealogical Society. The reception will be followed by an optional dinner with the speaker at the Chilton Club, courtesy of Mrs. Francis de Marneffe.

Le Chateau de Fontainebleau
The Paris Chapter\'s traditional summer outing will this year be to Fontainbleau to visit the chateau and admire the newly restored rooms, such as the Papal Chambers and the chapel of Saint Saturnin. Bernard Notari, Directeur du Domaine National et du Mussee de Fontainebleau will welcome the group and explain his plans for the future of the chateau. A special bus will provide transportation to and from Fontainebleau and the group will lunch at a local transportation to and from Fontainebleau and the group will lunch at a local restaurant.

The Atlanta Chapter will hold their annual French picnic at the Reynolds plantation in North Georgia.

Jeanne d\'Arc Wine Tasting
In addition to the Joan of Arc lecture series the Philadelphia Chapter has planned a French wine tasting and summer solstice party focusing on wines from regions that have a connection with Joan of Arc. This party will be held at the Acorn Club on Locust Street, just off Rittenhouse Square.
